Spring, again

The weather is very changeable at the moment. Never start writing about the weather. It was a dark and stormy night.

Getting started is half the battle. Writing rarely starts, I have to squeeze it out like trying to get claggy old paint out of a tube. At least with watercolours I can add some water and wisps of colour begin to appear.

At least it’s Spring. There’s some genuine warmth in the sun, and the first mad rush of spring flowers is over. And now there’s the promise of summer. Soon the pohutukawa trees will light up with crimson fireworks flowers and the buzzing of bees.

Some days the light is so beautiful my heart feels as though it will burst, I love it so much.

Grateful.

Manifesto:
04. Every day is an opportunity to cultivate the promise of the future.
20. Every day say thank you.
36. Every day be still. Connect to your inner being. Listen and be guided by it.
