121 – Concentration in meditation

High above Wellington, nestled in the wild, mist covered Karori hills, an isolated monastery is still continuing a number of age-old traditions. In the last days of the year, the younger monks of Karori busy themselves attending to the grooming of the older monks. This provides an opportunity for faith and trust to be exhibited while still maintaining the austere restraint demanded of the almost secretive order. The senior llama has extended his trust to the concentrated efforts of one of the younger monks. While rituals such as this are engaged in around the world, this is the first time a camera has been allowed in to this particular order.

17. Every day look through a new lens.
32. Every day have a laugh.
