The last of our portrait exhibition is coming down. In our hearts, songs of praise, of exhaustion, the highest highs and our fair share of lows. A great collaborative effort and although no-one was interested in discussing any ideas right there and then, I would not be surprised to see some if not all of us re-adjourn for some future creative projects. I can’t wait.
The great thing about meeting and working with other creative people is the lift that can be gained from their enthusiasms, their critiques, and the practical experience. The way we get better at doing things is the blend of our own reflective practice – reflection in action – coupled with constructive feedback and raising to the expectations of others. I hope I’ve been as positive an influence on them as they have had on my work
Thanks to all who came – some from near, and some from far – we’ve learned so much and want to do so much more now.
