There’s no more complete way to motivate people to get out of the city at the end of the business day than for the wind to turn to the icy South, bringing in a drenching of squally rain.

Everywhere, grim faced people are making their way home through the velvety darkness, up the valleys and into the hills, ideally in the shortest time possible. People tend to drive carefully. It’s not because they’re caring and considerate, rather, the motivation is selfish. “If I’m involved in an accident of any kind, I’ll have to wait here in the cold and wet until it’s sorted. Get out of my way! Keep clear! Stay away!”

Creative selfishness.

At home, hopefully light, warmth and comfort, hot food, maybe a glass of wine, a few hours of nodding off in front of the tv. Sure, some of us revolutionaries will change the world tonight. Most will be satisfied with changing channels.

06. Every day you make choices.
07. Every day making no choice is a choice.
08. Every day choose to bring about change.
